Consultation took place in August and September 2007
The study looked at the type and amount of shopping currently on offer in the Eastbourne area and considered the need for further provision.
Local residents where asked:

where they shopped for food and other goods
-
how often they made shopping trips
-
what they thought of the shops in Eastbourne
-
what further provision they would like.
A final draft of the study will be available from the end of April 2009 the delay in publishing this study is due to the economic downturn which needed to be reflected in the final document .
