Consultation closed on 12 March 2007
This consultation on the council's Liquor Licensing Policy was carried out between 12 January 2007 and 12 March 2007. Comments were invited by either submitting an online form or writing to our Licensing Manager.
A further stage of consultation on the Licensing Policy was carried out between 7 September 2007 and 2 November 2007 - see the separate page in this section for details.
The Licensing Act 2003 requires the council (Licensing Authority) to publish a Statement of Licensing Policy that sets out the principles that the Authority will generally apply in order to promote the Licensing Objectives when making decisions on applications made under the Act.
In order to keep the Policy current, the Council must regularly consult on its content.
