Consultation now closed
The Council formally consulted on the Core Strategy: Preferred Options Report and the Preferred Options Sustainability Appraisal Report from 5 January - 16 February 2007.
The Preferred Options Report presents the spatial vision and objectives for the future growth and development of the Borough until 2026. It lists all the options considered for achieving that vision and presents the Council's preferred options for managing change and development in the Borough.
The Sustainability Appraisal Report evaluates the environmental, social and economic effects of the preferred options.

A consultation report will be produced soon which will outline the consultation events that took place with outcomes and information on the representations that were made.
