Consultation Event 9th October 2006
By December 2006 Eastbourne Borough Council will have a Disability Equality Schemes in place. Co-ordinated across the Eastbourne Strategic Partnership and sponsored by Eastbourne Borough Council, the purpose of this involvement event was to gain the views of disabled people on specific issues which affect them and involve participants in discussions about suggested actions to inform the Disability Equality Scheme action plans of statutory authorities.
Workshops were delivered by partners - Eastbourne Borough Council, East Sussex County Council, East Sussex and Weald PCT, Eastbourne Homes Ltd and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service. The Event was attended by over 40 people.
