Best Value Satisfaction surveys are conducted by all local authorities on a three yearly basis. As well as providing satisfaction data for statutory performance indicators, they enable us to identify local needs and priorities and tailor our services accordingly.
The questionnaires are designed by the Audit Commission and the consultation procedure is standardised nationally in order to provide meaningful comparison both historically and geographically.
This year the General, Planning and Benefits surveys have been jointly procured with other East Sussex District and Borough authorities in order to save money, time and resources.
People Surveyed: All Housing and Council Tax Benefit claimants who have had claims determined during the sampling windows of: 1st June - 31st July 2006 and 1st November - 31st December 2006
