The Core Strategy is an important element of the Local Development Framework (LDF) and sets the vision and objectives for the town to the year 2026.
The consultation on the discussion paper on the issues and alternatives for the Core Strategy ended on July 4 2005. This was the first formal stage of the consultation process. The results of this consultation can be found in the LDF Discusion Paper Analysis Report below.
We are now working towards a Preferred Option Report for the Core Strategy. We will be consulting with the public on this document in November 2006.
