The Eastbourne Strategic Partnership (ESP) contributed to funding the pilot year of a special health visitor whose work involves developing health needs assessments and health care for:
The health visitor provides basic health care and advice to those who have found it difficult to access doctors, clinics or dentists.
This project has now been mainstreamed into the work of the Primary Care Trust (PCT).
