The aims of the Devonshire Project are:
- To improve the quality of life and service delivery in Devonshire Ward
- To enable voluntary and community groups to be effective partners in the Eastbourne Strategic Partnership, Neighbourhood Renewal and Community Planning initiatives
We will do this:
- Through neighbourhood events and meetings, involving the community of Devonshire Ward in identifying issues and concerns and planning service delivery
- Encouraging the development of local Community Associations to encourage personal development and involvement in the local neighbourhood
- Developing a Neighbourhood Action Plan that is owned by the community and those deliverying services
- By organisations working in partnership
Information gathered from the Devonshire Area Profile, together with views from the local community will be used as a basis for the development of the Devonshire Neighbourhood Action Plan.
