The Disability Involvement Group (DIG) was formed in February 2007 and is an involvement group for Eastbourne Borough Council. However more recently the DIG has become involved in wider ranging issues.
It has representatives from a number of clubs and groups in the town such as:

The DIG's wider membership represents approximately 1,500 Disabled People living in Eastbourne.
The DIG meets regularly at Eastbourne's Town Hall. Members set their own agenda and are heavily involved in areas such as dropped kerbs, community transport and organising events such as Scooterbility Plus and Eastbourne's Disability Roadshow.
The DIG was instrumental in developing Access Eastbourne, a brand new initiatative for Eastbourne. Please refer to the Access Eastbourne page for further details.
