The Compact is an agreement which sets out some basic principles for improving the way statutory authorities (e.g. Borough Council, the Primary Care Trust and the Police) and the voluntary and community sector (VCS) work in partnership.
It sets out some basic principles around how we should be working together. These include principles like 'mutual respect', 'equalities' and 'communication'.
