These are just a few of the projects supported by the Crime Reduction Partnership (CRP):
Devonshire Project
The CRP is currently working to reduce the level of crime in Devonshire.
It has funded a post to provide a dedicated worker to reduce all aspects of crime in the ward.
Youth Work
The CRP has provided funds for youth work in Eastbourne. The money has been used for both capital projects at The Archery and to provide additional youth workers across the summer holidays.
Anti-Social Behaviour Group
The Crime Reduction Partnership’s Anti-Social Behaviour group are working hard to reduce the number of young people who become victims of crime.
The group agreed that a targeted campaign against mobile phone crime aimed specifically at young people would be a real benefit. For more details, visit the Immobilise website.
The CRP provides funding to the local Police to increase the number of Officers on duty at times when anti-social behaviour is at its highest.
Eastbourne Youth Radio
The CRP continues to support the Eastbourne Youth Radio project with grants and looks forward to the next event in 2009.
