Neighbourhood Policing Teams and Neighbourhood Specialist Officers
Neighbourhood Specialist Officers are now working locally in Eastbourne as part of the Neighbourhood Policing Team.
The police officers are dedicated to working in their specialist neighbourhoods and are not ususally removed to cover other duties elsewhere, unless in extraordinary circumstances.
Their aim is to be familiar and accessible with the local commununity, helping to identify local priorities and working with residents and partner organisations to find solutions to local crime and disorder problems.
These officers and neighbourhood policing teams aim to support the work of all police officers in Eastbourne in tackling anti-social behaviour.
