Partnership Initiatives

Since April 1998 the Partnership has introduced around 20 initiatives designed to tackle crime, disorder and the fear of crime in Eastbourne.
 
The Partnership has been the driving force behind many local crime reduction initiatives including the employment of:
 
  • anti-social behaviour officer
  • safer schools partnership officer
  • CADDIE analyst
  • domestic violence worker
  • under 19s substance misuse worker
  • racist incident worker
  • nightwatch coordinator
  • youth justice worker
  • detached youth workers
  • resettlement project for prority and prolific offenders
  • prevent and deter Officer
  • positive activities (Street Art and Sports)
  • mentoring scheme
