"Making Eastbourne Even Safer"
Formerly known as the Crime Reduction Partnership, the name of the Partnership was changed in April 2011 to the Community Safety Partnership which better reflects what the Partnership does.
Whereas the Partnership used to concentrate mainly on reducing crime, we have listened to the concerns of the community who tell us that theis main concerns are more to do with the quality of life, the quality of the environment as well as crime and anti-social behaviour.
Three Year Plan
Our new three year plan (2011-2014) reflects these concerns and has moved away from being solely crime based.
Our Local Priorities are:

Support of countywide priorities of domestic abuse, controlled drugs, road safety and public confidence

Alcohol related crime and disorder, to include street drinking, public place violent crime, young people drinking and serious sexual offences

Anti-Social Behaviour to include criminal damage and youth arsons

To develop and implement effective Neighbourhood Management in designated areas.
The Partnership plan will be continually updated and refreshed every year to ensure that it is accurate and effective.
