Langney Community Centre
Langney Community Centre has re-opened and is now available for hire for regular bookings and for one-off community events. We are not able to offer the Centre for hire for private parties at the moment.
The Council has carried out essential works to the Centre in partnership with Eastbourne Homes and Mears to bring the main hall and kitchen back into use. A Steering Group made up of local residents and organisations is now working to decide how the Centre will be managed in the future and will carry out further surveys of local people's views in January 2012.
Facilities
The Centre consists of a large hall with stage and a kitchen. The kitchen is not yet fully equipped. Wheelchair access is limited to the main entrance and toilets are not wheelchair accessible at the moment although one toilet has some adaptations.
The current hire charges are £10 per hour.
