Vehicle access to Ocklynge Cemetery has been temporarily prohibited from the main Willingdon Road entrance due to the extended safety cordon around the Chapel buildings.
Alternative Vehicle Access Via Eldon Road
Alternative vehicle access can be gained at the Eldon Road entrance if required.
One Way System
A one way system will be in operation throughout this restriction to enable safe access and exit routes. See map and signage for advice. However, we would ask that where possible, vehicle access is kept to a minimum to avoid congestion.
We would also ask that should you wish to take a vehicle into the cemetery during the working week throughout this period that you call 01323 766536 to enquire about any funeral services which may be taking place.
Pedestrian Access
Pedestrian access is still available at this main entrance during normal opening hours.
