Ocklynge Cemetery is located in the Old Town area of Eastbourne and is the larger of our two cemeteries. This cemetery is now closed to new full size graves, although burial in existing family graves may still be possible. Cremated Remains graves are available for purchase. The chapel is closed and not available for services.
All cemetery records are held at the Bereavement Services offices, which are located at Eastbourne Crematorium.

Vehicle access has now been restored at Ocklynge Cemetery. However, please be aware that while the thaw continues some side roads and paths remain slippery. Extreme care should be taken if vehicle access is required during this period.
Access is available from 8am - 5:30pm daily. Gates are situated at the main entrance on Willingdon Road and the side entrance on Eldon Road.
Summer (British Summer Time): 8am - 8pm
Winter (Greenwich Mean Time): 8am - 5.30pm
