There are two chapels at the crematorium. The largest, the Main Chapel, has seating for eighty people while the smaller Family Chapel which opened in 1990, can seat twenty-five.
Service times are set at 45 minutes intervals although the length of each service in either chapel is kept to a maximum of thirty minutes. This allows time for the chapels to be prepared for the following service and helps minimise any congestion.
We offer a double service time for those families who wish to have an extended service time to accommodate a longer service or allow a large number of mourners to pass through the chapels un- hurried.
Services may be traditional, with an organist playing for hymns etc but can be tailored to meet individual requirements. Each chapel has CD and Tape facilities so that families can provide their own choice of music as desired. We will be pleased to give advice on all the services and facilities available.
