National Bus Pass: Concessionary Bus Fares

The National Bus Pass is a bus pass giving discounted travel throughout England after 9.30am Monday to Friday, and any time at weekends and bank holidays. You may use your bus pass from 9.00am to travel within the borough of Eastbourne.

Changes from 01 April 2008

The new National Concessionary Travel Pass started on 01 April 2008. All existing concessionary bus pass holders will have automatically received a new national pass before 1 April which is valid for four years. If you have not yet received your pass please contact us. A concession has been made to use your existing pass until 30 April 2008.

Who is eligible for a National Bus Pass?

You may be eligible for a National Pass if you are a permanent resident of Eastbourne and you are:

 

  • 60 or Over, or

  • are disabled and eligible, or

  • are not permitted to drive or likely to be refused a driving licence for medical reasons
