Business Campaign - Think Again
A 'Think Again' advertising campaign in the national press was aimed at businesses and employers, to raise awareness of the places where the new smokefree legislation applies.
Messages in the national press advertising from January 2007 onwards for employers and staff include:
Think the new smokefree legislation only applies to pubs? Think again.
Think the new smokefree legislation only applies to restaurants? Think again. Smoking will be off the menu in workplaces too.
Think the new smokefree legislation only applies to office workers? Think again.
Think the new smokefree legislation only applies to public buildings? Think again. From 1 July 2007, it will be against the law to smoke in virtually all enclosed workplaces.

Public Information Campaign
A public information campaign was launched on 14 May 2007, to remind the public what the legislation will mean, with a range of TV adverts, posters and press adverts.
