2007 Campaign - Lighten the Load
The theme for the 2007 campaign was Lighten the Load. The week focused on musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), including back problems - the most common form of ill-health disorders at work.
The week ran from the 22nd - 26th October 2007. The Campaign Action Pack is still available to download - details are available in this section.
The aim of the campaign was to support employers, workers, safety representatives and other stakeholders in improving MSD prevention.
Problems include back pain, work-related neck and upper limb disorders, repetitive strain injuries and lower limb disorders. Raising awareness, prevention and management are all key factors in reducing MSDs.
