Hairdressing and Dermatitis - Bad Hand Day?

Up to 70% of hairdressers suffer from skin damage. Keep your hands healthy and wave goodbye to bad hand days.

 

Let's cut out dermatitis - it is simple. Use disposable non-latex gloves, dry your hands thoroughly and moisturise to keep your hands healthy.

 

The council's Environmental Health service is working in partnership with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) on the Bad Hand Day awareness campaign.

 

We are targetting around 200 local hairdressers who may be at risk of developing dermatitis - see Awareness Event and Publicity for details.
