Corporate Social Responsibilty
The Government’s Vision for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is that it wants:-
To see UK businesses taking account of their economic, social and environmental impacts, and acting to address the key sustainable development challenges based on their core competences wherever they operate - locally, regionally and internationally.
Approved Supplier Listing
Our current practices and procedures are currently under review so in effect our Approved Supplier listing is currently on 'hold' until a new agreement is reached.
We hope to achieve a 'supplier friendly' (and Council friendly) system which will deliver a common standard approach across the Councils within Sussex and beyond.
All existing 'approved' suppliers and all applications from potential new suppliers will be contacted in due course. If you have any questions in the meantime please contact us.
Pre Qualification Questionnaire (above £144,000)
For contracts where the value exceeds the threshold laid down by the EU (£144,371 for goods and services and £3,611,319 for works) must be advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union.
Pre Qualification Questionnaire (below £144,000)
All Councils in Sussex have agreed to adopt a standard self-assessment pre qualification questionnaire for contract opportunities below the European threshold, based on the Office of Government Commerce and Small Business Service model document (excludes Construction related business).
The purpose of this questionnaire is to assist the council in deciding which suppliers to short-list to invite to tender.
