What Do You Need to Send to Us?

If you choose to download and print the PDF application form below, you need to enclose:

  • A cheque for the licence fee of £89, payable to 'Eastbourne Borough Council'

  • and, for structural changes, plans of the proposed variations, scale 1:100 - for details go to our Guidance on Plans page

Advertising Your Application

Under the Minor Variations process, the applicant is not required to advertise the variation in a newspaper or copy it to the seven Responsible Authorities. However, you must display it on a white notice - in order to distinguish it from the blue notice used for full variations and new applications.

The notice must be displayed for a period of ten working days starting on the working day after the minor variation application was given to the Licensing Authority to allow for representations to be made by the Responsible Authorities, and "interested parties" as defined by the Licensing Act 2003 - go to Representations and Decision Making in this section for more details.
