Selling Alcohol Responsibly

Eastbourne Nightwatch scheme logo

A guide to licensees' social and legal duties and how to promote responsible drinking.

Licensed businesses including pubs, nightclubs, takeaways, supermarkets and off licences have a vital role to play in reducing crime and anti-social behaviour resulting from alcohol misuse.

The way in which you operate can impact upon the health of your customers and staff. Venues in Eastbourne are asked to consider providing a smoke free environment, to help promote an inclusive and vibrant night time economy.
