Find out how you can save money and improve the image of your business.
Our aim is to promote NHS advice on salt reduction by raising consumer awareness and improve health.
Benefits to Your Business
Part of our Small Business Help programme, we are targeting local independent caterers to help rather than branches of national chains.
-
The campaign is free and open to all targeted businesses who use salt shakers
-
5 hole style caps, original salt shaker pots, low-sodium salt, A3 laminated posters and leaflets will be delivered and provided to your business free of charge
-
The campaign is promoted in the Eating Out section of our website, complete with a list of businesses using our alternative style salt shaker and/or low-sodium salt
-
We can take a photograph of your staff at your workplace using the 5 hole style salt shaker and display on Facebook - you can find photos of some of the participating businesses using the link from this page
-
Less salt will be consumed resulting in monetary savings for your business
-
Businesses can raise awareness of the reducing salt message and a healthier lifestyle within the community, therefore promoting a good public image
Following the Campaign
Businesses will be re-visited within a few months, to evaluate the success of the campaign and find out if their customers have comments upon the new salt pots and low-sodium salt.
