Women in Construction Project
This project is part of a nationwide initiative to produce a culture shift towards greater employment of women in the sector.
The project invites employers to get involved.
Key benefits are:
wage subsidy of up to 45% for new female employees
financial help to train and progress existing female staff members
paid work experience trials
NVQ registration fees paid
free Health and Safety training, testing and CSCS card registration
improvement of your competitiveness for public sector and large development contracts, and
help to identify further funding opportunities to expand your business and train your staff
