To help secure the social and physical regeneration of the town for the lasting benefit of the local community, the Eastbourne Construction Training & Employment Charter was drawn up.
All members of the Eastbourne Construction Partnership abide by the principals of the Charter.
The Charter is a voluntary code of practice which invites employers and developers of one off developments to use reasonable endeavours to maximise the training and recruitment of local people and to encourage a local supply chain.
By working together it is possible to create and help maintain a highly skilled and motivated workforce in Eastbourne.
