The overall aim of the Plan is to ensure that the Town Centre remains a vibrant, attractive and welcoming place for the whole community with a strong mix of shopping, leisure and tourism attractions together with great places to live, work and relax.
Adoption of the Town Centre Local Plan
The Council adopted the Town Centre Local Plan at Full Council on 20 November 2013.
The Inspector's Report on the Eastbourne Town Centre Local Plan. stated that the Local Plan provides an appropriate basis for the planning of the Town Centre over the next 15 years, subject to to a set of modifications which were previously consulted on.
